We don’t let Tex keep squeaky toys on the floor. Like most things he wants to chew on, he quickly enters Search and Destroy mode. Not to mention the incessant squeaky noise. 
These toys have been on our bookshelf for months. Tonight he suddenly decided he wanted them back.
