Arrived back at home on Tuesday evening after our 2-week trip to the UK. OMG, I am still slogging through e-mails at work and catching up there. And I’ve been going through our photos trying to make sure they’re ready for posting (for those inquiring minds who want to know!). I’ve got a list of at least 20 topics that I have not yet been able to write about, so the travelogue will likely see more updates in the (hopefully) near future.
So back to the grind! :) It’s good to be home, to see our fur-children and family again. To be rooted. 
We have our Friday Flats dinner tonight–our semi-tradition of meeting my family at our favorite little New Mexican food joint. Mmmmmmmmmmmm… green chile… Then Saturday we’re considering an outing to the wonderful and lovely Texas Renaissance Festival–an annual ritual I very much look forward to. And Sunday is a football game–go Texans!
