“Write it on your heart that every day is the best day in the year.” ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
One of the themes at that wonderful Red River writing retreat (do you think I liked it?;)) was living in abundance. Living with abundance.
So often that’s a choice we make–are we glass half full or half empty today? I think of Sheryl Crow’s song Soak Up the Sun when she says, “it’s not having what you want, it’s wanting what you’ve got.”
And I also recall a conversation with life coach Megan when she suggested out that too often we ignore our emotional and spiritual needs to the detriment of those around us. Her point was that the more we fill ourselves up, the more we have left over to give to our loved ones, our activities (like work or church), and our community. So what is it that fills your soul? Be sure to take some time out to do that today.

Hi Becca.
We’ve never met. I’m a diva… It’s sunday, now. Happy Birthday!
Fill yourself with love through faith, family, writing and reading.
