Here I am, sitting at work, minding my own business, when I hear a jingling noise moving down the hallway outside my door. I’m thinking, “Is there a cat in here?!” It totally sounded like one of my cats when they wear their jingly collars (which, I’ll admit, lasted a whole 12 hours). Anyway, I poked my head out the door and all I saw was a group of people walking down the hall.
jingle. jingle.
Ah ha! It’s that lady! Yup, an adult woman in a professional office building apparently decided that wearing bells on her shoes was a good idea. Which begs the question: Huh?
Don’t get me wrong! I remember in the 8th grade when wearing bells on your shoes was, like, the totally rad thing to do. But bells in the workplace? In 2005? I’m skeptical.
And I keep looking for that damned cat.
