Wow, it’s been a busy few weeks! As hard as I try, I just haven’t been able to post as much as I want to.
This last weekend my dear friend Amy married her true love. Amy and I have been friends, through thick and thin, for at least 13 years (whoa!). I also got to spend some more time with our friend Julie and her true love, whom she married last October. So we’re all old married ladies now. It’s like a milestone has been passed. 
You know, everyone’s wedding day is special for so many reasons. But I realized this weekend that it is a friend’s wedding day that’s even more special. When you’re happy you want to share it with everyone; when you’re in love you want to share it with everyone. Watching Amy and Matt this weekend was an affirmation of that which I hold dear–my marriage, family, friends, love, and support. And I thrilled that another friend has found all of that, too.
On another happy note, another friend’s baby was born last night! The circle of life continues. May Nicole grow up in a world that shows compassion, dignity, and strength, and may she see a bright and safe future.
